I am a Law student in India
want to migrate to Canada
because of some family internal problems i myself have disowned (legally) myself from the family ties.
And don`t want to work or continue my studies in India.
is there any chance that i work and study in Canada.
Can i get an independent Visa to Canada.
If not then what other prospects do i have to get into Canada. Work there and if possible(financially) study too.
I have a little bit knowledge of webdesigning and I have made a website for my school http://www.stepheniansonline.com" rel="nofollow">LINK
So please let me know whether i can somehow get myself a PR of Canada. Just me and noone else.
Hmmm, its going to be a long shot. For a PR visa, you would need to have at least a bachelors degree with some experience or have the experience/skills in certain trades to get the necessary points. First, start of by going to http://www.cic.gc.ca" rel="nofollow">LINK to see where you stand. Visitors visa is going to be tough but go the same website for more info. Nice website by the way.

i have a bacholers degree with me ( i am doing an integrated course and after the completion of 2 years you get a B.A. degree ).
This kind of 'degree' is useless in Canada. Please read other posts in the forum where people with Masters and PhD's are sitting idle in Canada or doing labour jobs. It is amazing that people are so clueless about the situation here despite the thousands of posts on the forum.
End of the day it is upto you but I don't think you even qualify for immigration, let alone what you'll face once you come here.
Yours is a long shot, the best route I think is to come to Canada and study (try and avoid Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal cause of the 1 year post-grad work permit clause), get a job after you graduate and apply for PR from within Canada. Other then that, you could make your case stronger(probably) if you got a Masters degree ( back home) learned french (you get more points), got at least a year's work experience and then applied for PR. Be ready to wait for the dreadfully long processing time though.
