It would be really helpful if any CD member living in the above mentioned cities provide some opinion/answers.
Hi CD's.
Would appreciate if folks can start responding to portions of the question and talk about cities and questions related to that city they know off.
Understand one person may not be able to answer all questions about all cities listed.
There are a lot of real estate folks on this site who can help us out plus folks staying in the listed cities.
Moderators : We can try to make this as a sticky for one point of reference for folks especially first time homebuyers looking for real estate around GTA
Thanks
Milton/Oakville
GO Transit Availability = TRUE
Oakville = Expensive
Milton = Getting Expensive(Lots of desis who were earlier targeting Mississauga, etc. are moving there)
I don't think there are too many local emp opportunities in Milton though I believe there are some in Oakville, but from Milton you could commute relatively painlessly to Oakville or Mississauga for work.
I am not aware of any Indian grocery stores in Milton.
Lastly, your questions are too generic I think. Detailed information crime rate, schools, etc could be better obtained via online searches..
Thanks Yellowknife.
Atleast someone has started responding to the post queries.
Not all the local information can be found on internet searches.
Would be really helpful if local people staying in the individual cities start providing information and real estate folks [ which are a lot on this site] provide information on others.
This would really help first time homebuyers in making a decision about the location before buying considering the different factors.
Hence the different queries about various cities though one person or post may not answer all together.
Looking forward to other CD's contributing so that we can have a forum discussion and also moderators can make this a sticky.
