Didn't want to start a new thread for my issue.
I have been trying to download the Application Form for Visa for my 8 month old Canada born kid but it keeps popping up the Username and Password dialogue box...any idea how to get to the form and whats with this Username Pwd thing. It happens in both Word and PDF format.
The Consulate won't pick up the phone ...its getting late coz we'll get her passport on 2nd April then i'll apply for Visa and want to fly on 10th April.
Can we make it in time?

Thanks Viggy ... i just tried doubleclick in that dialogue box..it disappeared and i could get to the form. Don't you think their website is not very userfriendly. Also they sound quite rigid in their text on the site.

Ashwani please don't even mention the word...i keep reminding myself of Gandhiji's 3 monkeys. 'Bura mat bolo' being replaced by 'bura mat type karo' and 'bura mat suno' being replaced by 'bura mat type karo'.:nono:

anyways going back to business ...what is the usual time Indian consulate takes to issue Visa for a kid who is Canadian born belonging to parents holding PR status.
Hope to hear from 'Sincere hearts' soon.:D

Timeline is 1 day plus mail transit both ways. CGI Toronto gives you the visa tracker info.

Thanks dimple2001 ..if it takes <1week and as per your experience 1 day+mail time which could be 1week overall..thats good enough for me.I was concerned to see 1 week as processing time +mail time on cgitorontowhich was too much coz we have to be in India by 10th April and will get my daughter's passport on 2nd April.
Good Day.
