I have been offered a 50 $/Hr rate for a 6 months to permanent role in a leading Telco. in Toronto, is it a reasonable offer or should I try and negotiate a bit more ? This is a Project Manager role, I have almost 8 years of experince in the Telecoms working in various capacities . Also what is average salary for a permanent role of this level ?

Any advice will be much appreciated

Thanks

I agree that this is a reasonable offer for a Project Management role given that this is a contract position.

Shahbhai,

They are trying you out before they offer perm. Not sure how much PM exp. you have in Telco from your email. I also depends upon how much are u getting it now. The average salary assuming 3 yrs in Telco exp. as a PM is 65-75K.
