Just wondering in terms of Desi community at above intersection i found lots of apartments around that intersection. I am working close to Richmond hill. Hence i am considering to relocate somewhere around that area. I currently stay in Mississauga.

Yes there are a lot of apartments in the area. There are grocery stores very closeby as well. I find the apartments closer to Bathurst/Anitbes (just north of Finch on the west side to be quite nice). My friend used to live in that area.

If you are looking for desi community, try to stay out of Bathhurst on both sides - it is full of Jews. Actually I am told that the whole stretch of Bathhurst is Jewish - different portions occupied by different nationalities and ofcourse the apartments are those occupied mainly by Russian rough Jews.
If you are working in Richmond hill and want to live only in an apartment, your best bet would be apartments near Centrepoint mall at Yonge and Steels which has a slightly better mix of people and has all the conveniences of shopping, commuting etc.
Richmond Hill and area around hardly have any aparments - only condos which are reasonably expensive too.
