younger immigrant are less likely to use this FREE healthsystem.
Healthcare systme should be Two Tire .

other one is monopoly . bcos of less people in canada they are doing monoploy in every thig. on their face you can't see this but as outcome of result you can see this.

in most of licnece profession you will get licence very fast and easily in USA then canada. so everybody is going to USA and canada always shout about the shortage of skill people.

I think it's the 'Canadian insecurity' that becomes a hinderance to looking at things with a fresh perspective.

Yep, I fully agree with this.

Don't see anyone really disagreeing with you - of course we all love our homelands, where we came from, because it is a matter of pride - who likes to hear that their country isn't perfect? However you do make some valid points but I'm sure not everyone will agree with you....that's just life and a matter of opinion.

I've never been to India...am I being naive or is India really a 'Poor' country...I guess I've heard that there are two extremes in India, one of severe poverty and the other of extreme wealth...is this true? Is there no middle ground there? Are all those from India who migrate to Canada poor?
Does India not have the ammenities of 'modern' life that we have in Canada?

Yet, there's always a condescending attitude prevailing whenever you are in conversation with the Canadian borns.

I dont know if I can agree or disagree with your above statements. On one hand, I am aware of shortcomings of Canada (like any country) but as it is 'home' I may see things through rose colored glasses. I do compare many things with the US and enjoy certain things from south of the border. On the other hand - does it help to dwell on the negative? How does that help newcomers adapt to their new chosen home? Having negative perceptions does not create a realistic understanding - it only creates negativity.

Can you clarify what your experience is in dealing with Canadian borns? are you talking about Indo canadians? I am not disagreeing with you because being a Canadian born myself, I HAVE also experienced some negative things but am trying not to dwell on them.

I have concerns about Canada s economy in years to come ....

India and China are looking up and due to cost factors jobs and production are moving to these 2 countries .... Would Canada turn out to be just a consumer country and if yes , how lomg would the economy be able to sustain itself ?

The other day some one related to me that they did not find a single product 'made in canda' in 3 aisles he looked in at Walmart !!!!!

Where is Canda headed .... we know India is looking up...

Fido,

Isnt Walmart an American Company? Most american products are also made overseas are they not?

If you want to see real 'made in Canada' products - leave the big box stores and venture into small locally owned businesses.

So are you suggesting we should start moving back - the earlier the better - more so because there is no queue for it and no waiting times of 3-5 years as wwe had when we came here?
