Dear All,
I need to rent a car in mississauga from Jul 2007 and will hold a credit card as well as international license. only problem is that I'm a landed immigrant since Aug 2004.
Do car agencies see the passport/visa or are they ok with the international license and the credit card?

I've rented a car on my international driver's licence in the past, but that was in NY . Canada has some weird 'rules' though. You might wanna call up a few rental companies beforehand.

Car rental company may allow you to rent a car, out of ignorance. But you may be in a problem, if caught by police for not having valid licence.
