Watch an indian being abused and attacked because of skin color.

Very sad. Hope things will improve.
Yeah, the same video has comments by 'kale log' also. How come the title is only 'watch discrimination against Indian'
May I ask, if you don't mind, do you discriminate against 'kale log'?
What if you found by some wierd quirk of fate that SAs were not discriminated against in this country, but 'kale log' were. Would it bother you, or would you say it's their problem?
I know many South Asians who say 'kale log nich log hai' or something to that effect.
I wonder what the results of a poll taken by a reliable polling co would yield?Would it find that SAs are biased when it comes to 'kale log'
Just fodder for thought.
Remember the song "Hum kale hai to kya hai, dil wale hai"
That's sad. Just sad. Why Calgary? I have been subjected to racism in scarborough and Markham, in my 9 years here.
Once in the TD bank at the Eglinton Square mall in Scarborough! But that was an old, old Lady who probably was a KKK member in her prime. I didn't feel like saying anything rude back when she was type casting me by saying "you and your type". So I said "Please don't resort to such stuff. That's unnecessary". But she wouldn't stop. She ended her last rant with "That's your only excuse, f#$! you". That pissed me off and swore a ton back.
On highway 7, I had to change lanes. But there was this van that just wouldn't let me in so I cut the van since I really HAD to change lanes. I went ahead and stopped at a red light. This lady pulled up beside me and rolled her windows down and shouted "Go home you Paki, you cut me off! Go home." That completely shocked me and I could barely react. I said a few choice words in anger but thought to myself why these people have to resort to racism?
Funny though, I have been to every darned club downtown Toronto when I used to work there for 3 years as a bachelor and NEVER faced such a situation.
I empathize with you for what you went through but you're not alone. I got my heart shattered several times while in South Eastern USA and several times in the Plane.
While it may be lurking here and there at a quite subdued level, I feel positive it will be lot less in future (I mean in Canada), Because ...... SAs will soon be a majority here and we will have lot of opportunity to watch what real racism (bigotry actually) is.
If I put my emotions beside, one good reason behind racism is lack of security (financially, physically) and heightened inferiority complex of the people who find a way to exhibit their superiority.
