Mississauga being a major attraction of many Desis, I am planning to compile some useful / common information in this thread (ofcourse, out of response from many of you folks). Please go ahead and add the information you have.

Besides, the beautiful summer is just around the corner, I expect this thread to help myself and fellow CDs who look for activities / resources.


Walking / Biking Trails in Mississauga:
1. I found one good trail close to Derry/Financial.


Family Fitness Centers (Sports clubs):
1. YMCA in Mississauga appears average, any other similar facilities.

There's a facilities map in the site above which shows you all the parks in Mississauga. My personal favourites have been the parks along lakeshore in the Port Credit village.

Family Fitness:
The community centres here are great. Visit any one of them for more information on the facilities. They have a ton of programs for kids as well.

In fact, there's a BBQ at Jack Darling park this saturday where a few of us are getting together...I don't know all of them either...so you are most welcome to join in.

In addition, just 30 minutes away from Mississauga, there are beautiful conservation areas around Milton. PM me if you want more details.

I'd be more than willing to join the BBQ but I had committed something else for this weekend and I am moving next weekend to Mississauga. I am eager not to miss any summer action after my move.
