I was very skeptical about my parents visitor visa to file thinking my total family income may not be enough ,while filing at CHC,NewDelhi.
Application was accepted and my parents were given six months visa to stay in canada.
I would like to share my happy moments with future applicants- Application included
1.Invitation letter to High commission (i didn't notarised-my letter mentioned I confirm that, I along with my wife will bear all the expenses during my parents travel and stay with us in Canada.)
2.payslips of myself (jan-mar)
3.Notice of Assessment of myself (24k)
4.Notice of Assessment of my betterhalf (13K)
5.Bank statement (usually called -letter of good standing)(10K)
6.copy of my candian passport
1.My letter to parents
2.My dad retired (enclosed copy of bank pension pass book)
3.Bank statement(1 lakh Indian Rupees)

Thanks SDS for posting this information.
We had in the past made an application for parents' visa and were refused.
The reasons given were:
1) Very little stability in Canada.
2) No proof of travel in their passports.
3) There is no adequate reason for our parents to return to India as I am the only child of my parents.
Before we make the next application, thought I might get answers for some questions and I have it listed for you to answer.
1) Are you a homeowner?
2) Have your parents travelled abroad? Do they have any country's visa stamps on their passport?
3) Do you have any other family in India?
Thanks once again.
