Below is the letter received from Immigration officer asking for a settlement plan to proceed further with the application process.......i don't know how to proceed to collect this information.....Please provide ur inputs at the earliest...Thanks
"I have reviewed your file and I am not satisfied that you will be able
to
economically establish in Canada based on the information that you have
provided.
You are being offered 60 days to submit a full settlement plan for
Canada.
You must state the city in which you will land and if possible, do
research
to compare two cities, in different provinces/territories, with
supporting
information. You should include, but are not limited to:
An assessment of your education and experience by the licensing body in
the
province or territory in which you plan to settle (or ideally two
provinces/territories) for Engineers as this is required to work as an
engineer in Canada. If you must take courses where will you take them?
How
long will this take? How will you support your family during this time?
Job ads for employment for which you are currently qualified.
Full monthly budget for a family of 3 in the city in which you plan to
land.
Employment opportunities for your wife, daycaer for your child etc all
should
be included, if appropriate."
WOW!!!!!
CHC is really acting its act together.
Anyway, some one can help if you would post some relevant details about you. Like your education, what are you employed as presently, how many family members, is your spouse working and is she/he a graduate or PG? You can also visit http://www.workopolis.ca" rel="nofollow">LINK to get an overall idea of jobs available based on your experience. Think very high, it is different matter you would not get even interviews for those jobs.
Post some details and the board can get back to you.
My suggestion is to be very careful in how you respond to this inquiry.
This is not to be taken lightly.
This inquiry can very likely be a precursor to an interview call.
Recently someone posted on this board that they were asked a similar question in the interview and their reply was not very convincing for the CHC officer.
If you wish, you can consult a certified immigration lawyer.
If you plan on responding to this by yourself, do your research thoroughly and quote data and information from reliable sources like Stats Canada and other govt. sites/publications.
Good luck !
