Hi
Could any one tell if I applied in June 1st week 2007, as to how long it takes to get an acknowledgement letter, test date and oath date. I live in Mississauga. I would appreciate if you could tell us that.

I got mine in 7 months but now a days 3 months maximum(provided that you do not have a common last name).

I also have a question here plz.

I got my Canadian citizenship in May 2006.
What I will do with my Indian passport getting expired in August 2007. I am on my present job in China. Also I am planning to go to India in October 2007 from China for 2-3 weeks.

Citizenship used to take about a year or more few months ago but now it is pretty quick.

Ben, you need to get India's visa on your Canadian passport or apply for OCI card through Indian consultate. Your indian passport will be stamped cancelled if you apply for OCI card.
