Hi Shivraj,

Welcome to Canada.

To find a basement apartment, you may have to actually visit some areas in Mississauga to get the feel of the city. Most basements are advertised either in the religious places (temples, gurudwaras..) or the Indian grocery stores. Buy a map of Mississauga from MapArt (available at Staples and other stores for under $4) to get familiar with the GO stations and schools and malls and locate the address given by a prospective landlord to see if that meets your location criteria.

Good luck and if you have any questions, you can always call me.

Hi Shivaraj,

Welcome to Canada. If you are interested in a basement in malton I can help u find one as there are lots of them posted here in the Westwood Mall. You may not have a great choice for September rentals as its almost the end of month but we can try. If you can somehow reach the Westwood Mall Bus terminal I can pick you up from there. The rental for 1 brm bsmt starts from about 600 to 650.
