You people have been doing great job in giving advise. Hope I could get some too.

I am going to India next month to get married. As a typical Indian marriage, it will be an arranged one. I have not seen the girls so far. I have spoken to some on Yahoo messenger( not even phones).

I would request information and advise on how to proceed on the sponsorship process. As such I have collected guide and forms from the CIC website. Still I would request information pertaining to first hand experiences of members on this forum.

I intend to keep marriage very simple and invite only few relatives.

Your response/suggestions/comments would be highly appreciated on:

1. the procedure to apply.

2. pitfalls to avoid.

3. process to expedite the processing.

Simple is ok and few people is ok but make sure it does not create doubt that it was done just for immigration purpose, they insist and rely on lot of pics....marriage album...

ph bills will help but u said no ph bills...........

history of how u met ....when and how ur relation developed...where u met on which dates ...when & where u met with relatives...has to be filled in form.
