Is any one using Navigon 7100 and reviews if any?
I have finally brough the XL - 4.3 in TomTom for $139/- . The 3rd edition (3.5 in) didn't feature a SD card . The XL is heavier by 1.1 oz ...
For those who own a 3.5 in GPS - is the size in adequate or would 4.3 be worth the extra oz - I feel easier to pocket the 3.5 " rather the 4.3" though .
TT carries a free update feature which permits to sync the maps to the latest available with in the 1st month in case your maps are out dated .

I have been studying this thread and would like to summarise the findings for comment by expert
1. It is recommended to go for dedicated GPS unit, preferably latest version at time of purchase so the maps are most updated. Also SD card is an additional bonus,Text to voice feature is MUST have for safety.
2. Pls advise from where does on get TT XL 4.3 for $139....any other experiences / comments I plan to get one for myself this weekend !
3. Any other comments welcome
4. I have Htc touch dual phone, will appreciate if some geek can suggest ways to upgrade for GPS application (as backup or use in second car)
many thankx in advance
overall, i must say spending few minutes to follow the thread clarified many issues that one is ready to buy.... thanks to all contributors
