I purchased a land in India. I need to transfer $114,000 from Canada to India. It needs to get there this week. Is there ANYWAY possible for me to get this done?

If anyone know of anyway, please let me know.

Use SBI, money is generally in India within 48 hours depending on your bank in India.

If you have an SBI account in India, YEo Money transfers (Inside Kavery Supermarket at Dundas-Hurontario) will send a SBI draft in the next business day. They give atleast 50-75 paise more than any other means and they charge just $10 as service charge.
They can also arrange to deliver cash to the party in India (if you so desire), but only for major cities.
There are also many other money deliverers in Scarborough.

There s an SBI Branch in Down Town Toronto ( Bay St ) Contact Mr Chugh on 416 865 0414 x 2250 . Talk with him and he will email you specific information which can be used to wire transfer money to India .

Please bear in mind that although he is helpful SBI services will help only if you have an account in a SWIFT enabled SBI branch in India .

Otherwise to expedite a wire transfer (mine took a week ) please touch base with your NRE a/c Bank Branch in India or their corresponding branch here or in the US ( viz Bank of Baroda ) and they will provide exact details to effect the transfer w/o which you can waste some time.

Ok Guys let me jump in again...

Make sure to send the money thru banks when u want the money india to be white(legitimate)..In this way u might get less value due to commissions and fees. Process is slow (48 hrs(wiring) to 2 weeks incase of draft/cheque)

Otherways will make u r money in black but u can avoid the fees/commissions and faster (provided in major cities)
Time frame is 24hrs...u will need to pay after your party gets the money...

I do it thru some one named "Jakir"(search in the classifieds) for more than 3 years (reliable)..
but now a days he is not giving good rate as well..searching for others who can give more...(that means i am becoming more greedy...loll)
