I have observed ICICI bank canada has a great problem in maintaining the banking website. It may be safe but they are very poor in record keeping. The transactions are showing adversely. Credit - Debit - Balance line do not matching.

Some transaction do not appear for few days. If I speak to them they say there is no such transaction. After 2-3 days suddendly the former transaction appears.

Desi bank - Desi service - Desi Log.

Remember ICICI bank slogan "Achcha Lagta hai'

Check carefully your transactions and always keep the records in separate XL sheet.

Worst I encoutered was recently when I wanted to send money to someone from my NRE account, they nowhere write on their website how much amount can one send at a time unless I read the help option after getting errors while trying to transfer the amount.

Second the website says NRIs can transfer 2lacs and residents 1 lac perday but when you really try to transfer 2 lacs it gives an error saying transaction is overlimit. And it goees through if you transact 1 lac per day ie Residents limit through an NRE account.

In case of an urgent need it is such a screwed up situation when you have money sitiing in India still you cant access it and you cannot send anymore to India.
