Which A/c is better Icici or Pc Financial ? I have the option to open Icici Bank A/c before landing as well as getting pre approved credit card and if its Pc financial, I can only open after landing. may I have some suggestions for this.

Hi Sagar,

It is good to open account with ICICI now and take their credit card. This way you would be able to start building your credit early. PC financial would not open the account before you land but offers excellent telebanking facilities and free banking. You should open this account after you land here.

Good Luck.

Good to open ICICI bank acct and get credit card from them as well. You can't go wrong wioth that. Once you land here, open an acct with one of the leading banks in Canada, with good branch and ABM network.

PC Financial would be the best choice, but my understanding is that, they open acct only for those customers who already have an established credit history. I recently visited one of the pavillions of PCF and was cfmd abt the same.

The reason I suggest opening an acct with one of the leading banks, coz ICICI DO NOT have good ABM or branch network.

I am an ICICI bank account holder in India since 2000. I also hold an ICICI BANK VISA GOLD credit card. I was wondering if my existing account and credit card could be converted to International account pertinent to Canada, instead of closing both and opening a fresh account for immigration to Canada puropse. Please advise.

Wouldn't that question be better answered by your ICICI bank there itself?
