Hi
I have a query about credit card transaction that I did in the month of March of this year. I bought a airline ticket, but the transaction is yet to be posted in my statement. The same happened to some of the transactions that I did in India, some of them have been posted, some not yet, and its already more than 90 days.
I checked with TD Visa, they said that I am resposible for the payment/interest only when it appears in my statement. I have taken down the ID number of the callcenter rep who told me this, but a formal email to their office went unreplied.
I am a bit confused;
Will I be slammed with high interest after they detect the missing transaction, say 6-7 months down the line, or should I just take it easy.
Is it going to be reported to the credit agencies?
Even the contract for the TD Visa Gold card says that a cx is responsible for payment/interest only when it appears in the statement.
Looking forward to comments/advise.
Thanx

Take it easy. This normally happens when vendor use the (old) manual swipe machine for credit cards. I believe bank post charges only when they receive a slip that merchant sends in their slip if they used the manual swipe device.
If you do not see your transaction in your statement, then there is nothing to worry.
