Hi,
When you have lived for 3 years in Canada, you must have a lot of trail.
Your lawyer would be able to tell you how to collect records.
Some of which are:
1. Lease rent/mortgage receipts.
2. Affidavit/letter from landlord.
3. Affidavit/letter from neighbours.
4. Affidavit/letters from friends.
5. Motor car records/tax/fees/petrol bills/insurance payments/repair records/service records/driving license renewals etc.
6. Library card issue/use
7. Bank deposits/withdrawals
8. Income tax returns/ refunds
9. Receipted letters/registered mails/Courier receipts
10. Water/sewer/electricity/phone bills/details of long distance calls made/received / heating/gas bills / home insurance /health card/doctor visits/dentist visit records.
11. Participation in birthdays/parties/weddings/outings/photographs
12. Letters from local MP/councillors/NGOs
13. Payment of fines/court attendance/official applications/visits to offices
14. Photographs/videos with dates
15. Volunteer work/ charitable work /gym membership/walking clubs
16. Credit card statements/bank statements/local shop loyalty points card
17. Bus passes/season tickets
18. Correspondence from friends/business/suppliers/government
19. Affidavit /letter from hair cutting saloon
20. Mobile phone bills.
The idea is that a number of such records will bring out a picture that you have been in Canada for the period which you claim.
If you have nothing at all, there are no traces, then hats off to you!
You must enroll in Canadian secret service.
Jokes apart, it should not be any problem. Do engage a lawyer.
Best of luck.
