All Canadian Sakhis and Sakhas
I am on shopping spree these days for my sis-in-law's wedding in India.Will be going in April.
Please suggest some good and affordable places to shop for following items in Canada.
1. Makeup-
should I buy some big kit or make my own kit.What are the things you would buy.
2. Nightwear.
3. Casual outfits
Any other suggestion would be highly appreciated.My budget is $300-$500.May vary if need be.

For makeup, go to Revlon Warehouse Sale, its recently advertised in Voice paper i think. Making your own kit is better than buy readymade things that u may not need.
Nightwears - better to buy from india. The designs are better there.
Casual outfits - indian suits and stuff u can purchase from Gerrard St. For western outfits, i would check out Mississauga Flee market (mavis/dundas) first, then either Sears Outlet or Zellers. Walmart doesn't carry decent stuff.
For perfumes, go to Dixie Outlet mall, there is one big shop for all of that. You can purchase some cosmetics there too.

For Western outfits try Suzy & Bluenotes Outlet stores at Hurontario &
Bovaird Dr. They have very good quality outfits almost 80-90% off.
Bluenotes have good sales going on now.
For Indian Outfits contact me and I can refer to some good places in India/Canada.
For Makeup kits: most of the big stores(don't try regular stores like Wal-Mart as they don't have good deals on seasonal) have Chris clearance & you get discounted make up kits
For clothes, shopping in India would be a good option. Attractive designs,good fit and lesser prices(in taxes!! I guess) are plus points.

Oh yes for Indian outfits..I am definitly going to shop in India.However for western outfits i guess I can get some good designs here and there would be places where i get them at good price.It is actually for my Sis-in-law who is going to get married.
