The only amusing thing in this entire bogus post is the fact that people actually think that just because they happen to know a couple of people in a situtation, this experience applies to the entire population.
Call yourself a reject all you want - just don't include others in it by default because THEN, you make it personal.
Secondly, not all desis that come here have their green cards rejected - some just don't want to wait our the long uncertain period with an h1b visa.
Last but not the least, if you put forth a point on a public forum, be prepared to hear opposing views and feedback. If you are unable to do that then maybe this is not the right forum for you to vent your frustrations

I sound like Dharam paji now, but this is what I found in my circle of people who rave about USA. I have written million times that many financially successful people I met here were not really the people who started with a good white collar jobs and people keep disputing that.

I can provide emails of my friends who immigrated here from US and went back to US because they couldn't find similar jobs(even at junior levels) than what they had in the US. Mostly opted for Canada beacuse of lengthy waiting periods for the GC applications. It is not US \"prem\" and anything against Canada but just truth. I also know a few friends who instead of opting for Canada, returned back to India as it makes more sense now to work in India (IT/Service sector) than working in Canada.
One of my friends who immigrated from India rather than US, left after 2.5 years as he couldn't get a job in IT. He had 4 years experience. After returning to India he started working for Oracle India at B'lore and now works for Microsoft India.
One of my friends from US recently immigrated and her husband works for HDFC bank in Madras. He took leave of absence along his annual leave and tried unsuccessfully to find a job. Finally after 3 months returned to India.
Face the truth my friend people are not lazy or unprofessional, Canadian immigration system has made foreign professionals third class citizens. Canada needs immigrants, but want them to take up only low paying jobs. Expects that first they work for free(volunteer), to get the Canadian experience, and then get a job at entry level. You might come up with some examples of successes. But my friend those are going to be exceptions. TTC subway is full of posters requesting people/organizations to hire new immigrants.
One of them says why a PhD has to drive a cab? My wife's cousin is MBBS/MD from St Petersburg, Russia. He used to pump gas in Oshawa. Toronto Star had published his interview in the health section sometime in 2005. It ended with the words that Dr Sahni asks health minister why he has to pump gas, why these state of affairs for new immigrants?
