It will be good if you can provide a span of six months to get the admission into a University. It could be sooner. They only accept the marks and grading directly from the one that you studied and hence the suggestion. If everything falls in place then, you will have a few extra weeks to arrange for your departure.

Prior to your arrival, the hostel or private accommodations will be empty or open for you to get into. They will charge you the current going rates or charges. So, depending upon your choice, you make your entry and familiarize with the surroundings and settle down. If you have relatives to support you, then it is a different situation. It is a very joyous season around that time of the year here. Your friend will be getting in at the height of it.

Currently Student VISA takes about 45 days and some cases 15 days. Depends upon how well you have got the situation assessed. Your finances ready etc.,. 90 days is bare minimum. You are up against it currently. After December, the process slows down, due to the ensuing Holiday season. So be on top of it.

Air Travel after the third week of November is Already FULL till the 15th of January of the next. And One way ticket is never the money maker for a travel agent. So, you first book a flight and cancel after wards, as there will be many takers for the seat.

The above are the good practices. So, be guided accordingly.
