What is the best compact SUV’

Need advise choosing compact SUV’s since I am having second kid and my small car is not enough.

I am going to buy two – three year old SUV ( van is not my choice)
Please give me your opinion which shold I look for.

Beside Honda CRV and Toyota RAV, which one should I consider ( Suzuki grand vitara, ford escape, Hyundai sonata fe, etc…)

JFYI, One of my friends bought a 2008 Hyundai Tucson, 4 cylinder, small engine (I think 2.3 litre or so) just couple of months ago. 0% down, 0% interest, 60/84 financing. So far he is pretty happy with the vehicle. He says that vehicle is very fuel efficient, about 8.5 to 9 ltr/100 kms, city and highway mix. Vehicle comes with 5 years bumper to bumper wrnty. His monthly installment is about $340-350 incl. tax with 60/84 option.

named SUV of the year. As reliable as a toyta, AWD so better in winters. It beat honda, toyota, mazda, everyone..

I see that you are looking used. You cannot go wrong with Rav 4.
However try Mazda 5. Its big inside and much more fun to drive and fuel efficient than any suv

The reason i m not looking for new and dont wanna spend to much money because , all gaz cars price will drop in next 2 years since there will be hybrid and electronic cars.

so at the moment i m looking for 3 -4 years old car with budget in mind.

honda crv and toyoya rav4 is still expensive to buy so i decided to go with other brands ( ford, hyndai,suzuki,GM)

Please i would like to know your opinion

Hi,

I'm also looking to buy a vehicle.with regard to hybrid vehicle , I have read review's that hybrid does not work well in snow condition's.There are good deals in zero percent for lot's of car.If you want to go for second hand get it tested very well.My friend bought one toyota corolla in 12k, within two months he already have repair of 3.5K.

can you please provide source that verify the prices will come down. if i'm not wrong we have Hybrids in market from last few years and don't see any change in gas vehicle prices.

Hybrids were never considered economically viable as well. with the recessionary fears and diving gas prices , its highly unlikely that Hybrids will increase their small market share .
