I plan to buy a 2001 plus model Van,( Dodge Grand Caravn or Ford 2001, Toyota) . However not too sure how to go about it, I have read about APA. A non profit organization. Do you think it's a good idea to go thru them or Are there any other organization to help ease the decesion.
I appreciate members advise on this.
You got to decide whether you want American or Japanese. The insurance for Japanese is way too higher than American.
What is your budget? Do you want to buy it from a dealership or any other place?
Have you thought of buying auctioned cars? Check out http://www.repodepo.ca" rel="nofollow">LINK website. They have confiscated cars, generally in good condition. They sell in "AS IS" condition, but the advantage is, depending on model and make, that they are easily $1500 to $2000 cheaper than the dealership. I bought both my vehicles from there. They are on Queensway Ave, Toronto. You can go and see for yourself.
Good luck for your car hunting.

Hi Mannat,
Thanks for your reply. As I am not too much into technicals, would prefer to have a reliable vehicle. As such is APA a better option. ?. Do you think I can get better and cheaper vehcle thru them than going myself personally to the agency.
Sorry for my ignorance but what is APA?
The staff of place that I have mentioned is very heppful. If there are any defects in the car/van they tell u in advance. But u have to ask them--IF THERE IS ANY PROBLEM IN THE CAR?? That is the question that I asked them all the time. Always got a very good response from them. And buying my second car also from them is a good proof of their good service.
Good luck &
