My son will be getting married to a Mexical girl. My son is Indian born, Canadian citizen and the girl is Mexican born (citizen of Mexico). What will be the better course to take; getting married in Mexico/ Canada; Any other point we should know?
Thanks;

Congratulations!!
I guess your question is more related to a better course of action for the immigration purpose and not for the logistics purpose. Am I correct?
If you plan to have wedding ceremony happening in Canada, the girl have to come to Canada legally. I don't know any Maxican Citizens can visit Canada without any Visa, so that that is what I would check first. Once done, I think she can stay in Canada and apply for the residency.
Being Canadian Citizen, your son (and your family, if all of them are Citizen), going to Mexico should not be an issue. However after the wedding ceremony, the process might be similar to what people are doing when they go to India and get married. Application from your son from within Canada and wait for 4-6 months.

Agree with GG. Getting your future DIL to Canada on a visa might be difficult. It might be easier to get married in MX, and have a spousal sponsorship done.

Congratulations!!
My friend's sister just married a Mexican and they married in a beautiful Mexican hacienda. Her photos look amazing and she said the price was very good compared to what they'd get for the same amount in Canada. If they don't need to marry in Canada for practical purposes I would go for a Mexican wedding!

Dear All;
Foremost; Thanks so much for the good wishes.
We will like to get them married in Vedic way, anywhere (in Mexico or Canada). But I find marrying in Canada is not possible, because of visa issues. So we will arrange their marriage in Mexico. Now, girl's parents are comfortable with Vedic marriage, but to be followed only after getting the marriage registered (I guess, that’s possible in Mexico).
So the best course, we can choose is; go to Mexico, getting their marriage registered there. Then (same or next day) solemnize Vedic marriage in a temple there (at a safer place nearest to the city where girl’s parents are). I am exploring the LINKs from M. Gupta (with thanks to him) for further arrangements.

PS- off course a party will follow in Canada (then in India, sometime later) and you all are invited.
Hi;
The latest is that girl's parents are OK even on first celebration/ registration in Canada. Now, if the girl visit us in Canada, can we solemnize the marriage (and register) here? Do we have to get them married without any registration and then apply for her PR from outside of Canada (say Mexico)?
This becomes a immigration question now.
