Where were these Shiv sena guys when the terrorists were shooting at people in Bombay. Not one shiv sainik laid down his life trying to defen "amchi mumbai "

While I'm up for snapping any cultural, financial, trade, tourism or any other kind of ties with Pakistan, in no way those MNS goons have a right to do such 'policing'.

While I am no fan of the MNS, this particular Shakeel should have been kicked out of the show and India a long time ago. While his jokes were funny, I remember during the semifinals of COMEDY CIRCUS in 2007, he got eliminated due to a poor skit and before retiring he blamed discrimination and bias....he did not even have the courtesy to thank the public and channel who gave him the chance to show his talent and reach the semi final stage.

The gutless organisers brought him on again as the co-host from the next season so there was no chance of elimination.

Good riddance.

Most of the other shows like Sa re ga ma has already banned very talented Pak artists and no one else raised any voice about Shakeel. Nothing wrong with the guy but why double standards. Now Shakeel gets sympathy only because Sainiks kicked him out..I guess reaction would have been different if other political party done that.
Ok I do agree that policy of throwing out north indian is absolutely wrong and ridiculous. About Mumbai attacks and sainiks, what were they supposed to do ? stand in front of the terrorist and say shoot me ? Name any single political party that did that..why blame sainiks.
We need to stand together when it comes to enemy.

There was an article on Rediff about the local shakha pramukh in the neighbourhood of Nariman house. It was quite a long article and the coverage of his actions in helping the commandos.

I believe it was one of the commendable actions from common man during the crisis.
