Hi Kabutar12/Anil
1.Does SAP use Microsoft CRM2007 or it has its own OM Module?
SAP has its own CRM 2007.
2.Does SAP have its own BI or uses Cognos?
Again SAP has its own BI.
3.Is SAP certification must to get a job? if yes,How diificult to get SAP certificiation?
No, certification is not must but if you are new to SAP then it does help.
Certification exam in SAP is compartively (Java) easy and most of the questions are theorticatical and are not based on project experience.
You cram a book, practice for a month on SAP system and you should be good to go.
4.Please suggest good institute for training.
I guess somebody else has replied on this.
5. Does one need to have apptitude for imparting Training?
Not really
Thanks,

Blue_peafowl, considering you have QA and tech support experience, i will suggest SAP security to you.
You will find it very similar to your tech support job, where you are creating new users, unlocking or locking users, resetting passwords. Below are some additional SAP security stuff:
1. Setting up new roles or maintaining existing roles in SAP landscape.
2. Troubleshooting security issues which users might have.
3. Setup and use CUA.
4. Setup security in Enterprsie portal.(Different fro R/3)
5. Setup security in HR (Different from other modules)
6 Setup security in BW
7. Runnin securiy trace when ever required.
8. Getting system ready for Audits and work with auditors
9. Use third party tools for security. (most of companies by some kind of 3rd party software for security).
This is far the easiest thing to learn in SAP and does not require any programing or business background.
Few years back Basis admin use to do this but afte SOX compliance all public companies has to follow "segregation of duties", so this is picking up.
Its not very high paying field (compared to other modules)but hey if its easy to learn and is less stressful, so i guessit makes up for the salary.
Thank you very much Kabuter12
I was expecting first reply from u
and u prove me right.
The main reason I’m looking into SAP is for high paying job. I cant just stay with QA job for life with 50K year.
i would like to build future with something good where i can earn big money.
Also, since I m moving to Toronto I will be able to collect EI benefits and I found some training institute who offers course threw HRDC so I will not have to pay. This is the best opportunity for me to take course since I don’t have to worry about paying fees, so I need to take something really good in demand.
I have good business skills, I had operated my own business( import/export) for 3 years as well as I have very good marketting and managing skills.
I am looking into several different high paying skills , include SAP, eco energy and environment (Energy Systems Engineering Technician/ Environmental Protection Technician), Internation Trade (FITT)
I have been researching so far SAP looks hot and in demand others I have to change completely while SAP will be still on my field.
However, I m not avoiding other options but need more details, I will put separate topic on that later on. Right now I like to know about SAPs

Hi Kabutar12/Ani
Ahi has put some stages, for the following two, Can any of suggext which place is good irrespective of cost:
1. Enrolled into basis SAP module training via informal training(classroom, online,CBT etc).SAP formal training is very expensive.
2-Practice via temporary access to SAP server(you pay like $50 per month, basis admin ensure config is good for you to play around).Concentrate more on transactional level rather tha config.
Particularly if you tell about the second if one does the first one from any institute as mentioned by others.
Thanks,
