hello cd members

yesterday when i got the alternator changed my car stereo got locked,

any ideas how to unlock that ,what would be the code for the same

any help would be appreciated and would save me $$

if you bought it new from dealer in 2001 you can get the code from them (no charge)

Hi,

Try check in Your glove box, normally when dealer is doing PDI, that time they stick one radio code sticker on Glove box, Do not try to put wrong codes othervise your system will lock after 5 wrong try.

Normally if you have serial no of radio than you can get easily radio code to request to any dealer. otherwise they have to remove complete radio from your dash to get serial no and will cost more.

In this model i think is no need to remove radio from Dash board but you can get serial no without radio take out from dash, go to any Honda dealer and ask may they will help you get code without charging crazy money.
