Hello,
I've searched, and reviewed closely connected topics and not one was right to the point and relevant in my case, and hence...
I've researched information regarding marriage procedures, and everything that was in connection with it.
My questions, however, are somethings that only a lawyer or an experienced person(who married previously?) can answer, and.. the fact, that they're not covered in articles explaining the procedures.
1) I'm planning to marry a Canadian girl. But coincidentally, my decision comes at a time when my student visa also will expire. Although I'm trying to make arrangements to extend it, I still wanted to know if if I have 1 months of time before becoming an illegal, will my marriage be considered a hasty and quick way to gain citizenship and hence be looked over with suspicion and might be 'rejected'?
Also, if I let my student visa expire, and before it expires, I marry.. will I need to regain legal residency of some sort, like try to get a renewed student visa, or can I ignore it?
(I hope you're able to understand.)
2) If we ever want to separate in the future, and we're successfully able to do so, Will our marriage stay on some sort of a record which will be pulled out in subsequent years when either of us want to marry again with someone else?
3) Scenario: Feb 1st is today's date. Expiry date for study permit is Feb 28th. Without making arrangements for renewal, I marry anywhere between 15th-26th. On Feb 28th, the study permit expires. What should be my next course of action since I will be able to apply for PR or something anyways?
4) Does religious difference, and the province of birth of the Canadian citizen not being Ontario, pose any difficulty?
5) How long does the whole process for the marriage take?
I really hope people understood my questions. If in doubt, I'll resurface to answer you.
Thanks a ton! :-)

Thanks for your detailed reply faisal. Really appreciate it.
Although 1st answer is helpful to me, I don't know how it's related to my question. I really hope you understood it though, if not - I can explain again.
So, you're saying.. within this one month, I need to marry AND get the PR application in?
Now, I've only some doubts about the 2nd answer. If you can verify it for me, I'd be grateful.
Rest of them got straight to the head.
Thanks. :-)
New question coming up.
So, what if I decide to marry some girl..
But, the only problem is I'm not sure about somethings which I really want to find out.
1) Does it stay on some sort of a record for her? Even after divorce?
2) Is there a way, that IF it remains on some record even after divorce, that we can somehow completely erase such "previous marriage" data from that record?
I really care about the girl, and do not want to let her fall in any kind of trouble with her family in the future. And if our marriage stays on the record even after a divorce, it'll be a problem for her if she plans to re-marry.
I hope someone's getting the drift and will be able to help me out.
Thanks.
