Hi all
I have worked as supervisor chemist in India for nearly 5 years and then I have completed my masters degree in chemistry in USA and presently pursuing PhD. would like to apply as skilled worker I am new to this forum and I have few questions.
1. Do I really need a consultant for PR processing, as some of them charging same amount as fee for applying for visa.
2. My wife is on H1 and she is planning to apply for F2 in couple of weeks, should I mention her being in H1 right now.
3. What are the documents I need to have, as I think have most of the documents but I donot know where I may have pay stubs, as I have worked 5 years ago ( but i may few scattered pay slips).
4. Do I need any letter saying exactly what resposibilities were as supervisor chemist.
I would really appreciate any answers
thanks
Vijay
1) No, not necessary
2) Yes, also state where she is employed too. That will tell them that you are there as a resident and not a transient.
3) Stubs mean nothing. Look for the deposits into the bank account and see if they are continuous. That should do.

If you know what documents you need, then there is no need to worry. Any Bank Manager can notarize the copies and keep the originals. Make a list of the submitted documents and keep the originals and the list in case they ask at the interview, at a later date. Always retain ONE copy for your files.

I think I have given you a plate full. But you are free to write to the CIC and ask for two complete sets of applications.
Good Luck.
Freddie.
Hi
I was going thru application procedure. I am applying through skilled woker category. I have few questions and I would really appreciate
answers few of them understand but I want to make sure.
1. Is it required to notarize photocopy of biodata page of passport for the application
Thanks in advance
Vijay
One more item does not hurt. It validates the document. But is it necessary? I don't think so. But to be on the safe side I will say, please do it.
You want to know some thing?? When you want to fly and give your Passport number to the travel agent, he checks the number against a list called "Fly - No Fly" list. Where do you think that they have that link to?
If you give your Passport number to them they will find your life's history and they have the technology to even trace your ancestry back to the past seven generations. May be three, I am just exaggerating a little bit.
Well these are minor items. I would say bend backwards if you have to, get the process completed and make it simple for them. You are only a string of numbers.
And they have us all by that string..
Freddie.
