I will buy non-perishable groceries online, like aata, rice, daals, masala, etc.

I won't buy here.. I have tried it in Bay area before, but here with so many Indian grocery shops all around, I would rather go pick myself.

With Indian stores packed over the weekends and difficult to shop on weekdays I will most likely give a try first to see how it is delivered and how it is priced etc. Since it is delivered personally, chances are much better of getting better quality product at good price.

When I didnt drive would buy non-desi grocery's online. They were very fresh. Once tried to order Desi stuff and it was also quite good. Now with a car, its easier to just pick up from the store.
