We wish somebody reading this may inspire to go to Halifax to start a grocery store.

Usually what happens - we Gujaratis are travelling from Indian to Canada, but not ready to travel from Toronto to Halifax!

I don't understand this mentality, but we should go and reach as many places as possible where we can prosper!

at the same time, you want to be with your community too, and you are not sure how it will be down there, (my case). Toronto is the best place to land, but yes, after that, those who can should think of reaching out to prosper.

Could you give any idea what a Canadian undergrad in accounting could earn with multiple years of experience in halifax or surrounding areas ?

In short, not much.
I am not in the accounting field, and I don't know what you mean by multiple years of experience.. The pay scales in halifax are generally low. I would be surprised if it is above 50/60K for your field.

I plan to visit Halifax sometime. I'm not sure where to start. Go to a travel agent and be content with their package tour details or plan something on my own. What are the places of interest that I should'nt miss. I am thinking about spending a week in Nova Scotia. Your advice and opinion is appreciated.

In a carefully planned 1 week you can do quite a bit of Eastern shore and do include the Cabot Trail near Sydney . I suggest you google a little bit on atlantic canada touring and you can have a fair idea.

Halifax - PEI Islands - Cabot Trail should be a good mix for 1 week.
