there is might be good news for you,

they checked yr doc. already. they found no any missing doc. now they decide
to go further.

decision made it meance there is (1) either interview (2) or any letter for PR
may come in near 12 months

so wait ... for further response from canadian imme. dept.

Hi,
If you had already done your medicals and updated Police clearance this means you are through. But if you had not received medical request before, it means your application has been rejected.
You can apply for CAIPS to find out the details.

thanks for your reply, we have not yet received any thing from them like to go for medical or pcc , we are just waiting their correspondence so we can find out what was the decision.

Hey guys,

We have just received a letter from them stating that we do not qualify due to not providing documents which were asked. They have mentioned two dates on which they sent a letter to us, this was returned to them, according their information.

They state this by mentioning two dates which they tried to contact us on which
we don't understand what is going on at all. This being the only letter we have received from them in more than 3 years (upon submiting our file) which states we do not qualify. How can we provide any documents to them when we don't know if they have asked for it as we have not received any letter previously.

The two dates stated on their letter are beffudling us as when we rang them to update our address we were not told that they have contacted us via letter or that we have to provide any documents. We were merely told that our file would take longer due to the back log.

Also the name on our letter is incorrect but the file no. is correct. Could this have anything to do with it.

We have sent them an email regarding this matter and are waiting for their reply. Please give us your suggestions or advice or if someone has faced the same situation.
