I had enrolled for their Job connect program for Internationally trained professionals way back in 2003 when I had arrived in Canada. I was very pleased with the program, I got my first full time job through their reference, also as an accountant they offered free courses in ACCPAC which was very useful for me, also in terms of resume building, cold calling and preparing for interviews I was trained well.
I use to attend their program from 9 am to 3pm and then work partime as a cashier from 4pm to 11pm this way kept my funds intact during my initial months here in Canada.
Thanks akeel_cpa for your time and replying and sharing your experience. I have attended their 1 hour orientation session and found it can be useful but wanted to get more opinions before I start, I have enrolled for a 20 day programe Mon-Fri 9-2 from next month as the current months batch is full.
Looking forward positively towards that.
I shall share my experience in detail on CD, so it can be used by other like me as well.
