Hi Folks,

If I have a medical appointment, do employers allow one to use a sick day or does one have to file for vacation day?

If your company has an HR department, you should consult them to be certain.

Where I work, no one asks me and I am free to go to a doctor's appointment when I have it without having to compensate for it in any way. So I don't have to dip into my vacation time or sick leave...
