We just moved to Edgemont from USA and luckily the weather here isn't that bad). We are originally from Delhi, India. Looking to make new friends in this area and also I am a stay at home mom with a 5 yr old and 19mnth old, so looking for a playgroup for the kids.
What is a good grocery store for indian stuff, temple, etc....
How can I get the desi channels. I got the Shaw cable for now.

We are in Sherwood NW. We have also recently moved here from US. Most of the Indian groceries are available at Canadian Superstore at CountryHill/Sarcee Trail intersection which is quite close to Edgemont. Indian grocery stores are in NE at McKnight/Falconridge Blvd. Indian temple is at 27th Ave NE. Shaw offers ATN/Sony/B4U and other desi channels. We are also looking to make new friends and if you interested please send a PM.
