It is same as msn or yahoo messenger just that it is a dedicated phone only service ...i found the voice quality phenomenal ...Yes , you do need a PC in india as well .

I have got so spoilt on it leave it on on speakers and just stay connected ...its like a hotline .

The requirement is Windows 2000 or XP. i have Win98se

i have used it oon win 2000 and XP ..works well on both

I suggest to use skype.com and call from your PC to landline in US/Canada. It is free until 2006 Dec.
