Hi,

My parents are planning to visit Canada sometime in August for a couple of months' stay with us. I have a couple of questions:

1) Does anybody know any good agent/website which can offer cheap fares for Air tickets ?

2) I am thinking about Air India as that seems to be the only airline without any connecting flights as my parents are not comfortable in communicating in English. Does anybody have any experience with Air India and can suggest some Dos/Don'ts ?

3) Is anybody travelling from Delhi to Toronto sometime in August and can accompany my parents to provide some guidance on the way ?

I am Travelling in this month. Let me know for any help I can do.I blocked the ticket for next week from hydbad to Toronto.

Lots of Indians, bad food, no attention by airhostess ( you will not see them except during meal times or at the time of entering plane), dirty tiolets after 5-6 hours- water blocking in washbasin, 2 hours stop in London- have to get down from flight- walk- 1-2 kms - again security check, carry no liquid / cream above 100 ml, no food items, achar etc, will get wheel chairs but will take extra 1-2 hours at each airport, cause even people who are all right order for wheelchairs, in canada they dont have more than 4 agents to manage wheelchairs and Air India have 25-35 people requiring wheelchairs. Cheap price of tickets if you buy from airindia website through credit card.

After experience of Air India and DTC / Haryana Roadways Buses, i feel both are same. In Air India passengers knock the tiolet doors like people knock the doors of sulabh shaulaya or Indian Railways tiolet doors. They run to make que and push and fight in que.
I will never fly with air india again, had enough.

For Air India

Problem is not with Air India but with Mostly Indian who travel with them. I fly every month in trans atlantic flights & in my opinion, Air India is much much better then most of the European Airlines/North American Airlines.
