I will apply for Canadian citizen, I found there are some background check in the process, I'm not sure what is immigration check , that means CIC will check immigration file again when we apply for citizen? Even CIC will check our eduction and working history in our immigration file?

The file goes to CSIS and there they do a (rectal) it is actually real, I just added the 'ct' to it, examination. Steps that they take: If everything is cleared, which might take anywhere between 9 months to 21 months, and if married they check to see that the relationship is 'real', medical is cleared, police report is cleared. They then start the background check, they will not do this before all of the above three things are cleared. Also check to see if your educational qualifications are true also.
Then they check the Bank records, travel records, dates associated with them and your early childhood activities, such as Boy Scouts/Girl Guides, RSS/ Mandal Bandal etc., Places that you lived, here in Canada, from the records submitted.
And if there is some thing that does not fall in place, then an RQ, and finger printing if needed and then a meeting with the Judge.
If everything is hunky dorey, then they will hug you and say, welcome to Canada and give the piece of paper and the Human Rights placard. You then become a Canuk or a Cajan. The choice is yours.
I hope this helps you a little bit and get to understand this elaborate CSIS process that we all are stuck with.

But I still have a question,for applying for citizen ,the question is the company which I worked for when I applied for immigration is not existed right now, because I applied immigration several years ago,It's a long time ago ,if CIC found the company is not existed,they will think my working history is not true for my immigration file.So what should I do?
Does CIC will check working history in that period(immigration period) when I apply for citizen?

This would be a common occurance, I imagine.
If CIC wants to check, I'm sure there are historical records existing about the company, such as their tax filings, their EI/CPP contributions, employment records with HRSDC, etc.

thank for your answer, I mean the working history in my immigration file, I'm still not a Canada immigrant at that time, Canada has not any record for my working history,because I'm not working in Canada when I applied Canada immigrantion. right now,i'm a Canada immigrant , and want to apply for Canada citizen, I'm not sure whether or not CIC will check working history for that time(working history in my immigration file) ?
and I also want to know what is immigrant check for applying Canada citizen?

Is this a Canadian company or a outside the country?
If Canadian, they can always check historical records as I mentioned above, if they wanted to.
In either case, I think you are worrying too much.
Worst case scenario for you is that they'll call you for an interview with citizenship judge and ask you to show proof like paystubs or employment letter from that company, but I seriously doubt that will happen.
I think you are worrying too much.
Just apply for citizenship and go back to sleep

Thank for your amswer, yes,I am worried about my employment with this company was before I became a PR, it's outside Canada, the company has changed its name and my manger has already left ,nobody knows me worked there before, it's 4 years ago! so if CIC call my company, they will not find me again!
The reason I asked this question is , one of my friend applied citizen 2 years ago,and he has take a long time waiting for background check ,he told me CIC checked his company before he became a PR(the company name is in his immigration file when he applied PR), so that make me worried.I don't know if it is a regular check for everyone.
