Thank you all so much for ur replies.... you guys are like life savers..... ok so m not on any step of immigration.... i tried calculating my points and it din give me qualified number of points just stated that i don meet up to their point criteria..... cic website is not so helpful for a person with a zero knowledge abt canadian immigration.... i would highly appreciate if anyone can help me abt starting the process.... i've been living in states since 2001.... did my associates degree here and have been employed with this private entreprenuer for last 7 years.... my 1485 (status adjustment applicatio) is in pending status and have two citizen kids.... n i don want to waste more time here.... just want to give a shot for canadian immigration.... if it would trigger; good.... if not i will just go back home....

If not today, you may find yourself eligible in future, work towards gaining points where you lack. Identify those areas and plan accordingly.
