Can you pls let me know what is the best vacuum cleaner that I could afford to buy below 100 dollars ?

Is it better to buy bag or bagless vacuum cleaner for HARDWOOD FLOORS ?

Please let me know the name of vacuum cleaner

A swiffer sweeper works very well on hardwood floors and is much cheaper than a vaccum.

We checked out both the cordless battery operated sweeper and the floor / hand vac as in the link and prefer the latter ................. sweeper can pick dirt which is visible but the vacuum picks up things which we can t see as well .
plus its very convenient and effective with rollers below - you can do the whole apartment in 30 mins w/o straining your back ...

Thanks Fido and Fass2008 !!

I have the similar kind of vacuum,(Shark 2-in-1) ....But the problem with these kind of vacuum is its performance gets degraded with time...

So I would like to know if there any specific branded vacuum that could really pick the dirt from all the corners and baseboard stuffs ?

Walmart - anniverary running on this week.

i purchased Dirt Devil steam cleaner (just for hardwood floor)
or $39.88 regular price $69.88

I didn't use it, but i will post feedback the performance after using it.

as on box says its good for clean up and shine on hardwood floor. Is it good to clean hardwood floor with steam water?

I never used steam cleaners. Want to buy one. Does it have mop? If so, will it get dirty and need manual cleaning or everything sucked into the cleaner (like carpet vacuum cleaners) and we just throw water?

I am thinking between vacuum vs steam cleaner for our wood floor.

I am not a really sure about effect of STEAM cleaning on HARDWOOD / WOOD flooring. Best advice, ask for the company who manufactures the flooring. Some have information on their websites.
