It's been 12 months since the porcessing of my applictoin started as per eclient status. Haven't received any interview/medical letter from CHC Islamabad. I understand that the processing time as per CHC Islamabad is 24 months but there should have been some kind of indication from them about interview/medical by now. Should I send them a letter asking about the case status or just wait another 12 months?

May be your file has not been transferred to Islamabad yet. 12 months is early for Islamabad.

My daughter sponsored me from canada and I submitted my application in Mar 2003, received ack. letter in May 2003. I sumitted the application directly to chc islamabad. Also, my son in law had requested the caips notes in Nov. 2003, it only had Bring forward date for Dec. 31, 2003.
I don't understand what file tranfer means. does it means from CPC missisuaga to CHC islamabad, if so then why caips notes had BF'd of Dec. 31, 2003?
