thanks to every one for reply,

we decided to go with either 46" or 47" TV max as per our living room size. We went several time in store and now little bit more confused b'cos everytime sales persons says some different benefits and story as you know.

we liked the following two LCD TV's.

It is only a $50.00 difference, I would go with Sony.

RBO, the links you have posted are still expensive. If I have to chose between the two, I would pick Sony.
If you can, until the retailers start clearing out the last year models (beginning of December). Keep an eye on Costco instore and costco.ca deals, you would be surprised how much you can save. Going by the trend, you could even score a 50 inch plasma for 600-700 dollars.....go for Panny.
