http://boxingday.redflagdeals.com/

Check out the flyers of Bad Boy , Leons , Futureshop , Walmart , Source , Best Buy to see the prices and of course the Bay as well .

51 inches plasma below 500/- is available and I think its a good deal .. I casually watched LED & LCD side by side and LED appeared to be better .

I bought ACER with same specification year and half ago for $800 including taxes.
I have a separate video card as well. You have mentioned half the specification.

BUT it is a good price. Value for money.

You must have mentioned where you want it at - shipping address. If you have mentioned it at store of your choice then you have to go there and pick it up. If not, it will be delivered to you at your home.

Thanks a lot Desi # 1 for prompt reply.

actually online status says my home address for delivery, i just checked and now online status says "Shipped via CanadaPost Ground Shipping Delivery on 12/28/2011" what i am understanding is Canada Post is going to deliver at Home but normally in day time i am not at home so in this case do they leave some note at home or what?

For video it says in specification:

Graphics
Graphics Chipset - Intel HD Graphics 3000
Video Memory Configuration - Integrated
Dedicated Video Memory Size - Not Applicable
Wireless Display (WiDi) Capable - Yes

Specification are as below:

Most likely Canada post will leave a note to pick it up from nearest Post office. They do it irrespective for fragile or high value items. They would need your signatures.

I think specifications are good for a common man use. It should be OK for you. If you are not planning to play high end computer games, I think you should be fine. I am not a IT expert so can not comment more on this. Experts can throw in their comments.
