Hi,
We as a family completed our landing formalities last year. Now we will be permanently relocating to Canada during August end. What type of scrutiny should i expect at the immigration counter. Secondly, do I have to show proof of funds again. What is the minimum amount which I can carry with me without any disclosure. Appreciate your response. Thanks, Ady
You should not face any problems at the port of entry. Carry your PR Cards as these would be required to establish your immigration status in Canada. You don't have to show any settlement funds again. You must declare incase you are carrying currency equal or greater than CAD $ 10,000.
Best wishes
