Hi
I got family PR and I came here in feb 2010 I brought 12000 CAD, Now My wife wants to come with 2 kids of age 7 and 3. Please tell me how much minimum money as per rule, she has to bring here to show at Toronto airport?

You are the Principal Applicant and you have already showed them the Proof of funds at the time of landing and you are already here. And they know it because you are currently entered as living here in Canada.
All they have to do is tell the Officer at the P.O.E. (Hope it is Toronto) that you have landed here and settled down ahead of you. And if you have any documents to prove, send them a copy of your PR Card to tell them that you are here.
If you have a bank statement with the available funds or MORE, then send them a copy with the PR photocopy. Currently you can scan and send. Give them the additional details such as the Name of the Bank branch and location etc., They can print at a suitable location there in India.
If she wants to bring additional funds she is free to do so. Also DECLARE ALL THE MONEY THAT SHE IS BRINGING IN. And a List of Goods to follow if she has any items to arrive later.
That should do.

AFAIK
It is only the principal applicant who has to get the funds.Your dependents(wife & children) do not need to show any funds at POE.

Thanks for your reply.
As per your reply is it OK if she brings only CAD3000/- and show my copy of TD bank statement with CAD 8000. Earlier I was thinking to send all money to India so that she can make traveller cheques and show them at POE at Toronto airport.

She is O.K. to travel. She can bring any amount. $3000.00 is O.K. (Cash/DD) What ever you are comfortable with. Make sure that she declares the Dollar amount when the Immigration Officer asks "Anything to declare". "YES" Money, Booze and smokes and also the list of goods to follow. "Type it and bring a copy to show."

do i need to show the proof of fund again when my hubby(principal applicant) is not accompanying me to canada and we already submitted the proof of fund in our first time landing in oct 2007, but that time i was with principal applicant.
if yes then how much to carry and in which form?

Since you landed once and obtained your PR Cards, you are PR in Canada. So, you are O.K.
