coldn't find another forum so please help here

i lost my indian passport and PR card when sent to CGI toronto. they are not responding to emails/faxes/phone

i shouldn't have sent to toronto but what can i do now? any help please.

Your location says Mississauga, so suggest you go personally to Indian consulate and check with them whether they received or not. For what purpose did you send the passport/pr card, may be the consulate have it and still "processing' your application, which will take its own time.

If confirmed lost, go to nearest Police station and file for lost passport. Take the copy of the acknolwedgement and personally hand it over to Indian consulate. (The police will fax the copy to cgi, but cgi will say that they have not received it).

Apply for fresh passport. For lost PR card google for more info!

i am in kitchener, 100 kms from toronto. i have done the needful for PR but how do i get a response from our cgi in toronto for passport? it's been 8 weeks and no response.

i sent my passport for renewal. ironically.

guess i have to apply for fresh passport. and guess what on cgi web site they don't have links for all forms. now where do i get forms man..
