It is really funny or I would say sad… people are more worried or concerned about immigration thn economy, employment , healthcare, education, etc.

Depends on which part of the pyramid u are on ..
If u consider economy, employment , healthcare, education the lower rungs and immigration the highest and if people are well set on the lower rungs then their only goal is to look at the highest rung which is immigration...
New immigrants making immigration a election issue is WRONG in all its form..It has to be about economy, employment , healthcare, education

Cant fault the liberals on HST.
Long term HST could benefit ontario so cant really say that it is a bad move right now.. Yes ppl who bought houses for 400K plus or did big ticket purchases got hit in a bad way by HST.
For the rest ontario did provide rebate for more than 3 years worth of hst payments. Hopefully is after 3 years businesses reduce prices because they can claim input tax credit on hst, but as we all know corporate greed will override any benefits that should have been passed to consumers.

They don’t need to say as they already did it in Ontario last July. At that time they promised to generate thousands of jobs(with the help of HST) but still after 9 months Toronto region EI rate is 8.3 well above the Canadian unemployment rate of 7.8.
They also allowed the violent approach of auto insurance companies to increase the rates and cut down the services.
It seems to me as they are not in line to serve the need of common people.
IMO, corporate tax cut would help the unemployment rate to sustain.
