Can anyone suggest one as my friend wants to get some Indian Rupees .

Indian rupees is a closed currency, so importing Indian rupees is prohibited unless you are resident of India who is traveling, in which case Rs. 7500 is allowed to bring it to India. http://www.cbec.gov.in/travellers.htm

Contradictorily, TD Bank sells Indian rupees though.
